When I started talking to the founder of we are- NOTORIOUS and realized that we were about the exact same thing, I knew this was going to be one of my favorite projects. And then when I got to use the words “Your boobs are awesome. Be proud of ’em,” my beliefs were solidified. Sadly my client has since taken her passions elsewhere and the website is gone/I don’t have any photos of the T-shirts anymore, so let’s use that imagination!

You are a badass. “Sorry” has no place in your emails and you know how to tell someone no without having to justify your answer. There’s no more time for reluctant politeness or fear of rocking the boat because that makes a boring life, and we refuse to hide our true selves ever again. 

Who We Are

In one word, we are- Notorious (sorry, we couldn’t help ourselves). But there’s more to it than that. For years, women who wanted to be taken seriously had to publish their work with male pseudonyms or under the name of “Anonymous,” otherwise no one would give them a second glance. For all those women who minimized themselves and for all future generations who are still fighting, we are here to change the story. No longer will we be anonymous — from now on, we are- Notorious. 

What We’re Doing

we are- Notorious was created to inspire and encourage women to be their authentic selves and to do so with badass power and no apologies. We’ve all been told to lessen ourselves along the way — you know what we’re talking about — by being called bossy, apologizing when we weren’t in the wrong, and, our personal least favorite, being called crazy when we have the strength to show emotion. This stops now. It’s time to own your truth, be uniquely you, and, most importantly, be okay with it. We are here, we are rebellious, and we aren’t going anywhere.

Take things beyond #freethenip and living a bra-free life (which we are full-fledged supporters of, all day, every single day), by adding another great set of boobs to the lineup.
